Este encuentro reunió a 30 delegados de 13 países latinoamericanos, incluyendo a Conexión Social Digitel, una empresa pionera en telecomunicaciones en Venezuela. La reunión tuvo como objetivo intercambiar experiencias y fortalecer las alianzas en responsabilidad social, con el fin de ampliar y hacer más eficiente el apoyo social que proporciona la Red Padres e Hijos a las comunidades menos favorecidas.

"La responsabilidad social no es solo un compromiso, es una necesidad urgente para generar un cambio real en nuestras comunidades," expresó Mireya Blavia de Cisneros durante el encuentro. Durante la reunión, Mercedes Hernández, Gerente de Comunicaciones Corporativas y Conexión Social de Digitel, presentó los casos de éxito de la operadora en Venezuela, destacando proyectos de conectividad en colegios y hospitales que han mejorado significativamente la educación y la salud en el país.
