EMILIO ESTEFAN CELEBRA PARTICIPACION DE LOS RABANES EN VINA DEL MAR

Los Rabanes, en compañía de Emilio Estefan, anunciará el próximo 27 de enero, en Panamá, el nuevo trabajo discográfico.

El productor cubano Emilio Estefan dedicó a través de su cuenta de Instagram un emotivo mensaje a Los Rabanes, banda de ska/punk que representará a Panamá en el próximo Festival de Viña del Mar.

“Mi gente @losrabanes están imparables en este 2023. Venimos con un nuevo álbum bajo mi producción que estará (emoticones de fuego) y ahora celebramos la participación en Viña del Mar representando a un país tan querido para mí como mi Panamá”, escribió Emilio Estefan, uno de los fundadores de Miami Sound Machine.  Agrego en el posteo: “Los quiero mucho y estoy muy orgulloso de ustedes”.

En la Quinta Vergara, Los Rabanes mostrarán el tema “La Patineta”, cuya autoría pertenece a Emilio Regueira, vocalista de la banda, y al dominicano Henry G.

Emilio Regueira manifestó su agradecimiento y admiración por el productor cubano: “Las palabras de Emilio Estefan son las de un amigo”.

“Son de alguien que conoce la banda y que ha trabajado fuertemente con nosotros en distintas épocas, en distintos tiempos, dentro de la industria. También conoce mucho lo que son las tradiciones y el folclor de Panamá”, afirmó el artista panameño.

Emilio Estefan, junto a Gloria, “siempre ha dicho que le tienen un gran cariño a Panamá y, por ende, conocen sus raíces musicales, la historia y la trayectoria del pueblo panameño y por eso es la emoción”.

Primero, porque “estamos haciendo un súper disco lleno de sabor a Rabanes, con mucho sonido panameño, y también representar a Viña del Mar en una competición folclórica es un llamado a una fiesta nacional, a una fiesta latina”.

“Estamos rindiendo honores a toda nuestra tradición de los pueblos latinoamericanos. Más allá que gane uno o gane otro, con solo participar, representando las raíces de nuestros pueblos, es algo muy grande”, subrayó.

El vocalista dijo que Emilio Estefan “está muy emocionado con la presentación de Los Rabanes en el Festival de Viña y sobre todo con el disco nuevo que es una locura para el 2023”.

“Llevar 'La Patineta' a Viña del Mar va a ser una experiencia única porque este tema contiene raíces de la cumbia santeña panameña, junto con la murga de Panamá, que fue el arreglo que Los Rabanes le proporcionamos a esta canción”, agregó Regueira.

Para Javier Solís Vila, CEO de Rockass Online Music, empresa que trabaja con la banda panameña, “Viña representa una gran plataforma musical para el continente y para cualquier artista es un orgullo estar en ese escenario”.
